At the PLC, 60% of our instruction is taught in English and 40% in Spanish. A program designed for students to move towards a continuum of bilingual studies through twelfth grade.
Scaffolding Early Literacy – A set of instructional strategies to support literacy development under the supervision of Elena Bodrova, author of Tools of the Mind: The Vygotskian Approach to Early Childhood Education.
Waterford Early Learning – A digital curriculum that individualizes three years of complete reading, math, and science instruction to meet each child’s unique learning needs.
Imagine Learning – A digital curriculum that provides a research-based language acquisition curriculum specially designed to meet the needs of English Language Learners (ELL).
A Laboratory Demonstration School – A model school that combines the best practices in early childhood from a plethora of research-based national models. The lab school is utilized as pre-service for early childhood education university students and in-service for beginning early childhood teachers.
